An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unit of data on a digital leader called a blockchain. Each NFT can represent a unique digital item, and thus they are not interchangeable. NFT is another way to look at collecting creative things. NFT can represent any unique digital asset, including art, videos, trading cards, downloads, games & game assets, tickets and music. Read more about NFTs in our blog.
You can view your NFT collection by clicking the wallet icon in the middle of the bottom toolbar then navigating to the collectibles tab. You will see all of the NFTs you have collected using the Award Pool platform.
Currently, users can collect NFTs in their Award Pool wallets. Award Pool will soon allow users to be able to either trade their NFTs with other users in Award Pool, one NFT for another, or resell their NFTs in Award Pool or Opensea Marketplaces.
An NFT GiftCard is a gift card that’s recorded on the blockchain. Users who choose to redeem those can either collect their codes or trade them with others. To collect an NFT gift card, go to the wallet page in the widget, under the collectibles tab, choose the gift card NFT. Once an NFT gift card is collected, you won’t be able to trade or resell it.
When you find an NFT that you would like to purchase, you have the choice to pay with a credit card or with crypto. If you select “Pay with Crypto” you will be brought to your Award Pool wallet to choose a Cryptocurrency. Select a currency, for example, Celo, and then choose to deposit the amount needed from your connected wallet. Award Pool currently supports Matic, Celo, USDC, Ethereum and Binance. You can connect to your crypto wallet using Metamask
When you select an NFT to purchase, the amount will be automatically generated for you. If you wish to add more to your Award Pool wallet, you can change the amount when making a deposit.
Red means that you have insufficient funds in the Award Pool wallet to purchase the NFT you have selected.
Green means you are ready to go and you have enough funds in your Award Pool wallet to purchase the NFT you have selected.
White means that you have not created a wallet for that crypto currency.
If you don’t have enough funds in your Metamask wallet, you will need to add funds in order to deposit them into your Award Pool wallet to make the purchase. You can easily buy tokens directly within MetaMask by clicking “Buy”. Different networks and payment methods are available, though your options will depend on your region.
Go to MetaMask.io and click the “Download” button, which will take you to the relevant store to download the extension or app based on the device and browser you’re using. Then, when you login to the Award Pool platform, you can choose “Connect with Metamask”.
If you are having trouble with Metamask, please visit the Metamask FAQ for assistance.
No
When you are purchasing an NFT on Award Pool, you have the option to immediately export the NFT to your Metamask wallet. Once you slide the tab over to “Optional export NFT to Metamask” you will be asked to authorize Metamask for the purchase. Your Metamask window should open asking you to secure the connection. Check your Blockchain Explorer to see if it is exported.
