Alex Falconer

In a perfect world, Alex would have a single-digit golf handicap and spend his time playing squash, golfing and reading with his dog for company. 

A Chartered Professional Accountant, Alex uses his expertise to make sure Award Pool stays on the right side of the balance sheet. His motto, "Luck occurs when preparation meets opportunity," serves him well as CFO of this tech startup. At his very first job, as a mover, Alex learned the ethics of working hard and not stopping until the job is done. It's a lesson he's kept with him throughout his career, working as CFO for multiple companies.

When he's not making sure Award Pool is running according to proper procedures, Alex can be found searching the web for sailboats, figuring out who Award Pool's next star hire will be, and working towards the company's commercial success.

A rugby fanatic, Alex was a member of the founding team in his hometown of Lindsay and played long after his body told him it was time to give up the sport. Tenacious and loyal, he wants to be remembered as someone who created something against all odds. Next in line for Alex - making sure Award Pool becomes an outstanding success.
