Chris often refers to himself as a numbers guy, which he does a good job at proving in his corporate finance and securities background. However, anyone who gets to know Chris will tell you he's more a people person than a numbers person.

Chris has a passion for continued education, exposure, diversity and inclusion, which he attributes to his parents. This passion enables him to be curious and grow within the industry. His favourite part about Award Pool is that on any given day, he gets to speak with someone from a different country or culture but with the same goal of creating the future.

Chris' favourite job was working in food service as a waiter. He loved the interaction and camaraderie with fellow staff. Chris explains that as a waiter, his job was to be present but not dominate the customers' experience. Since Award Pool is a white label solution, the purpose is similar, making it feel like a natural fit. He was in the Bay Area for the mass adoption/bubble of Web2 (1998 - 2002), and says this moment in time feels very similar.  

On Sunday mornings, you will find Chris at Church with the family and watching sports or playing games on the best Sunday afternoons. He greatly admires his parents, whom he describes as "gregarious people that brought the best out of those around them." We at Award Pool feel that Chris brings out the best in us  - Mom and Dad would be proud!
