Jermaine’s dream job would be as a motivational speaker. When he’s not working on Award Pool’s niche value proposition, he’s working on growing PRJKT VET, a non-profit he co-founded to help veterans transition out of the military. An army veteran himself, he values the solid principles that guide Award Pool. And since he wants to work in blockchain, it’s the perfect fit.
He started his working career as one of the best busboys Fuddruckers (a hamburger franchise) has ever had. A graduate of both Texas State University and the University of Texas, he’s also an Options Trader. Jermaine loves talking to everyone and uses his positive energy to make sure that customers have great experiences and walk away feeling good about themselves. A man of many talents, he played the Sousaphone in his high school marching band, baseball and football at Texas State University.
Persistent and kind, Jermaine has a unique and inspiring motto: “When life knocks you down be sure to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up.” A family man, he is inspired by his sister, a successful entrepreneur. He wants to be remembered as a good father and loves doing things with his sons and family. Some of his best memories are of spending summers with his Grandma. His best career advice? Do what you love, and develop your skills while you’re young.
